About me
Origin – Movement and Construction
My roots lie in stage performance and dance.
Among other projects, I performed in the production Eulenspiegel at Kampnagel and taught Jazz and Modern Dance at Stageart Musical School from 2018 to 2021.
I developed a love for sewing in childhood.
What began as curiosity gradually turned into a fundamental question:
How does form emerge on the body?
From the connection between movement, body awareness, and design, my current focus evolved — constructive garment cutting.
Present – Garment Cutting as a System
Today, I work in the field of historically modern garment cutting.
I develop and teach the Vestis System — a measurement-based pattern technique grounded in historical surface logic and clear construction principles.
My focus lies in structural development.
How is a basic pattern created?
How do blouses, dresses, skirts, trousers, coats, waistcoats, and more evolve from it?
How can construction be understood and further developed?
Approach – Craft as a Path of Development
For me, craft is more than technique.
It is a path to gaining clarity through structure.
My work is based on three core values:
Freedom — to find one’s own expression.
Self-responsibility — to consciously shape oneself.
Authenticity — to make visible on the outside what exists within.
Through my courses, books, and writing, I accompany people in connecting craft and awareness — as a path toward greater clarity, calm, and self-agency.
